| In many public rest rooms, there is at least one booth that has a "Western" toilet. It's often at the far end. | Ok number one make shure you start your training in your kitchen because it will have lineal floor or tiles of some sort. Cover the floor in newspaper. Once your dog has peed put the wet paper close to the door. This is because they usually continue to pee where they have left the scent. Every day remove bits of paper in your kitchen furthest away from the back door so the last remaining piece of paper will be at the back door. Everytime you see that your puppy has peed on the paper reward her with a treat or just a play time. Finally once you have removed all the paper and she is doing the toilet on it right up to your back door she will start going to your door to indicate she needs the toilet, simply open the door and let her out! If she cant get out the now buy puppy toilet training pads from any pet shop (they are like five pounds) and use these at your back door until she is ready to go outside. Hope this helped! |

| Potty training is something that takes time and patience. Since she is so small you need to take her out to her designated potty spot every hour. The first few times you take her out she might just sniff around but won't actually pee or poo. This is normal because she has no idea why she is there, she will also be distracted by all the new scents and sounds so it will be hard to concentrate. When you take her outside don't talk to her or distract her just let her do her business. When she finally pees make sure to reward her with a treat and lots of praise. Accept that she will have accidents, don't get upset just make sure to clean up the mess immediately. Make sure that all pet stains are cleaned thoroughly because any left over scent will only encourage the puppy to urinate in the spot. |
